Adam J. Kleinfeldt joined Deutsch Atkins & Kleinfeldt, P.C. in March of 2015. He primarily represents individuals in employment litigation such as discrimination, retaliation and whistle blowing matters. He has extensive experience in all phases of the litigation process. Adam has obtained significant results for his clients, including a $525,000 jury verdict in a sexual harassment case, a $650,000 settlement in a gender discrimination and retaliation case, a $1,100,000 settlement in a gender bias case and a $2,000,000 settlement for a group of police officers in a racial harassment and retaliation case. Clients’ results may vary depending on the particular facts and legal circumstances.
Prior to joining Deutsch Atkins & Kleinfeldt, P.C., Adam was a Partner at a Northern New Jersey law firm, where he chaired the employment litigation department. He has previously worked for major law firms (first McCarter & English and then Proskauer Rose) where he represented and counseled employers in employment related matters.
Adam is admitted to the practice in New Jersey, New York, the U.S. District Court of New Jersey, and the U.S. Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is affiliated with the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the New Jersey Chapter of NELA (National Employment Lawyers Association).
Since 2015, Adam has been included on the Super Lawyers list published by Thomson Reuters in New Jersey Monthly Magazine, and in 2014, he was included in the Thomson Reuters list of New Jersey Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars, an honor given to only 2.5 percent of New Jersey attorneys. He was also recognized as a “New Leader of the Bar” by the New Jersey Law Journal.
