Lisa M. Curry, Esq., a senior associate with Deutsch Atkins, P.C. in Hackensack, NJ, has been practicing law since 1999. As a litigator and counselor, she handles both defense-side and plaintiff’s side employment law, and has won many settlements for her clients, using her keen negotiating skills and her broad knowledge of employment law: Lisa’s prior career in Human Resources gives her a unique perspective on the field. Lisa has published numerous articles on various topics in the field of law, and is a frequent public speaker on employee rights, discrimination and sexual harassment.

Lisa devotes a portion of her practice to representing clients in the field of professional dog breeding and showing. She also represents small businesses and handles general civil litigation. Lisa graduated magna cum laude from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts, one of the "Seven Sisters". She earned her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she served as Harassment Advisor for the Law School. She clerked for the Honorable Paul K. Allison in the Court of Common Pleas, Lancaster, PA.

Lisa is admitted to practice in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania state courts as well as the Federal District Court of New Jersey. She is a member of the National Employment Lawyers of America, American and New Jersey Bar Associations, the Bergen County Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice.

Lisa devotes her free time to showing and raising West Highland White Terriers and is an active member of the West Highland White Terrier Club of America.
